Pet Perks is our free loyalty programme, and it's our way of saying thanks for shopping with us. Every Petdirect account holder is a member automatically, so there's nothing extra to sign up for. You earn points every time you shop, online and in store, and unlock more benefits the more you shop.
How to get your benefits
- Online: sign in to your Petdirect account before you check out. Guest checkouts don't earn points or get member pricing.
- In store: let our team know you have an account so they can find you at the till before you pay.
- Points and member pricing can't be added to an order afterwards, so sign in first.
Everyday member pricing
- Save up to 15% on food and flea treatments, every day.
- Member pricing applies automatically when you're signed in or found at the till. Exclusions apply.
Earn points every time you shop
- Earn 1 point for every $1 you spend on products, online and in store.
- Shipping fees don't earn points.
- Your points land once your order is completed.
- Points expire 18 months after you earn them.
Swap your points for rewards
Use your points to claim rewards at 200, 400, 600, 800, 1,000, 1,500 and 2,000 points.
There are rewards for dogs and cats at every level. At 800 points you can choose a $15 voucher instead of a product. Online, your reward comes with your next order. In store, you can choose from the rewards that store has in stock.

- It's for every member, whatever your tier.
- The Autodeliver discount doesn't combine with member pricing.

Everyone starts in Sidekick when they create an account. Your tier is based on what you've spent with us over the last 12 months. When you reach the next spend level, you move up straight away.

Your shopping anniversary is the yearly anniversary of your first purchase with us while signed in to your account. We add your bonus points automatically.
Bonus point challenges
Earn extra points for doing things you probably do anyway:
- Leave a product review: 10 points for each review once it's checked and published, for up to 5 reviews a calendar month.
- Complete a survey: 25 points for each survey we run.
- Follow us on Instagram: 10 points, once.
- Follow us on TikTok: 10 points, once.

Already shop with us?
- Your spend from the 12 months before Pet Perks launched counts towards your tier, so you may already be a Companion, Soulmate or VIP.
- Points start from 21 October 2026. Purchases made before then don't earn points.
- Airpoints earning ended on 20 October 2026. Any Airpoints you earned stay with Air New Zealand.
